Ronan I think is looking at the end of Nov.
Barnes is fit, unless he hurt himself over the last few days. He played with Dolphin last weekend

Munster's Coughlan set for Christmas return

    Thursday, November 01, 2012 - 04:18 PM

Munster number eight James Coughlan is planning on an early Christmas present for Rob Penney by being back and fighting for a place in the side by early December, according to The Evening Echo.

Coughlan said: “I’m nearly there now, the hope is to be back at the start of December, it’s going according to plan anyway and as long as it keeps going in the right direction, I’m happy.

“It’s been frustrating, extremely so. I’ve been trying not to think about it and just working on getting myself right. It’s very hard watching rugby when you want to be involved and contributing something.”

It’s the second injury blow in 12 months for the back-rower.

Firstly he broke his hand against Ulster in Munster’s Heineken Cup exit last season and then tore his hamstring also against Ulster in September at Ravenhill.

“It’s a tough time when you’re injured but you just have to take it day by day and make the best progression possible.”

Forgive me if posted elsewhere, but what is the latest on Keith Earls? He wasn't released to Munster this week, so presumably he's still not fit. But if they've kept him at Carton, presumably they expect him to get fit soon?

    Any news?

I heard Sean say damaged ligaments to two young lads on the pitch after the match yesterday, he wasn't too downbeat though but he did have crutches and one of those weird leg brace things on.

Taz-Where did you get that information as I have seen nowhere that he(Penney) was ruled out?

    - This article originally said Rob Penney had missed out on the Munster coaching job. That information was incorrect.

Thanks, the latest report above is that he was expected to be back early December, it just seems to be dragging out quite a bit. Hope he gets back to where he was in September.

I hurt my big toe today when I accidently kicked the table leg. I tried to scan it in the computer printer but the lid wouldn't close.
Hopefully I'll be able to do light walking by opening time tomorrow.

Everything crossed, it didn't look very clever to me, why the f*ck he didn't come off on a stretcher is beyond my understanding!!!!!!!

He has said that himself to someone I know that he will be back before Sarries,I'd go with that.

That was an interesting match report. Sale scored two tries, Cipriani converted all three and McLeod scored a pen.

    Paulie out again...
On a more positive note (not to wish injuries on opposition players and all that but) Charlie Hodgson,
fractured a cheekbone recently and "could struggle" to play again before Christmas, surely good for us,
    who is Sarries backup 10?

Divine Mother. The injury curse strikes POC now FFS.

Something is very seriously wrong. Look I think the S & C coaches are fooling themselves.
Reality simply has to be faced.
    All those exorcisms were useless.

Mr Chips has to be immolated. There's no other way.

If he wanted to do the right thing he's immolate himself.
'Cos setting a Mod on fire can result in a ban (unless it's Drick)
And that's not fair on the fan only doing his duty.
    well looka

    You called...?

However, tempting option thought it is, I think we should wait until the HEC games come around before taking extreme measures. POC might well be back for some of these tests yet.

The words on the Deadsite that 'Paul will see specialist in the coming days...' chill the bones so they do - POC back injury seems very hard to treat and one can how RP has said all along that POC would be played when he himself said when he was ready.

It's a special version of the Maldini program.
POC will play until he's 50.
But only once a year in the HEC final.
Felix is on the same program, but doing it his own unique way.
    well looka
