In the day that's in it.. might as well start off the new seasons Leinster thread with their new jerseys....

    Home & Away....

    Alternate (training..??)

I quite like the home and away, they way they included the Leinster Crest, got rid of the ridiculous blue magic go faster stripes...

Not sure about the 2 stars... but they deserve them..... especially the second 1...

No more unicorn sp**k. Result. The away looks decent alright - I still prefer the first bank of ireland one or the last back of scotland one but them's the rubs.

Must be a bad news day. Someone tell me this is a wind up please! No shocking pink!

Beats the unicorn sp**k hands down. I actually quite like it. Will need to try one on to see if it suits my ample, porky frame though.

Ireland by birth, Leinster by the power of Greyskull.

How this signing turns out will be crucial to our chances this year. I haven't seen much of him but he comes with a decent reputation, if he can bring the same power and workrate that Hines did then we're laughing.

Cronin will give us depth at hooker but I can't see him starting the big games for Leinster, Strauss was the best hooker in the country last year and offers just as much as Cronin in the loose. I hope Cronin can push ahead of him as he's Irish but it'll be a hell of an ask.

Berquist is a decent player from the few games I've seen, losing Sexton to injury won't be as much of a disaster as it would have been the last two seasons.

Hagan should see a good lot of game time and working with Feek should do him the world of good. Would be brilliant if can become an Ireland option.

Browne and Carr are squad players, will do a job in some ML matches.

yeah, the way Conway is playing its going to be hard for Carr to get onto the ML team!

I still think its a really poor decision on Fionn Carrs part to go back to Leinster. Also how many big matches is Jamie Hagan going to start? They both would have been a lot better off staying with Connacht and getting regular Heineken cup matches.

Also, those jerseys would be twice as nice without the Harp going across the stomach of them. I'd feel a right tit wearing one of them to the pub to be honest

Hagan's going to do well under Greg Feek and with Ross gone for the world cup he'll get game time. Everyone was brought into rotation last year including Clint Newlands who I really wanted to see punch someone. Hines is a huge loss - browne's a big feckin yoke though...

Not sure about the lines on the jerseys, a bit too much going on there for my liking

Away one especially looks cat with the logo buried inside the shorts. Something weird going on there I reckon - or it could be the copious amounts of beer I've had tonight.....

I have only seen Matt Berquist play a few times he reminds me alot of Shaun Berne he has good hands and gets the back line moving but his kicking is a bit scuttery

Haven't bought a Leinster jersey since 2008, and the trend will continue. Really don't want to go a game with my father wearing that thing. Maybe I am beginning to sound like him too much - what's wrong with a blue jersey with a collar and some neat yellow/gold touches.....eg, last season's Heineken Cup edition? This will sound ridiculous, but Leinster looked like a brilliant/professional club team in the H-Cup strip, but like an American baseball franchise in the ML gear.

That yellow one is like a bad Liverpool jersey with COLLYMORE 8 on the back from the 90's.

Happy witht eh squad, but would have liked to see Niall Morris stay. Fionn Carr is still pretty young and he's an established ML player, whereas Morris was still "an exciting prospect." Hines is the big loss. We managed all of last season without Stan, the legend, but I wonder how good our season would have been had Hines been out for as long

Unless its is on a match day there is no need to wear a
rugby jersey to the pub or anywhere else for that matter.

Hagan can play both sides as well can't he? Given how Court's form dropped off, could be Hagan as bench cover at RWC.

Unlikely Hagan will go but it gives us cover at TH during the RWC. Were one to get injured early in the season we'd be seriously screwed.

Mcgrath has played TH as well. Came on in place of Hagan last night and tightened up the scrum, albeit, Hagan seemed to be having some trouble with an eye injury throughout.

He's huge for his age, could well be one to watch for the future..

Out for 4 months with a fractured patella. Bad luck Matt - get well soon.

Being upbeat, it's a good opportunity for Madigan to get a decent run and show his talent.
