I would have to agree. Whatever about suing a newspaper, threatening to personally sue a journalist (even VB who barely qualifies) smacks of desperation and would indicate he may have something to hide.

Danced a little jig around the table when I read this, GWAN Sam, hit him where it hurts - his pocket, bankruptcy would be good, have to leave the Dail, DOB will probably lend him the dough to pay the bill.

Would be deeply suspicious of Lowry's horsey dealings, main question would be how was the mare financed + the covering and boarding fees are quite large and no major financial return is secured yet.

Absolutely nothing fazes Lowry, he has spent the last 20 years of his life denying everything about anything and more love him in North Tipp than hate him, he is building like the Healy-Raes for the future with a family dynasty.

In my book of cnuts he stands right beside Bertie.

But he'd fix an oul pothole or get someone a medical card no bother.

Sadly that's the value of a vote in North Tipp.

You could add South Kerry and whole lot of other constituencies to that. It is not unique to Tipp North. Unfortunately it is the type of mentality that has us in such deep doo doo

Love it, Lowry is seeking to roll Phelan on the Wigan lands, Dinny will have to pull them apart.

The question is, where was he coming from, when he is supposed to be working for his fellow citizens in the Dail ?

I'm afraid I can't offer much there. He was in the departures area and I spotted him when I was boarding. I didn't see him pass me on the way down to economy class either.

It'll probably be expensed as TD business, bloody disgrace.

Of course he may have been out there selling fridges......

Could have been trying to talk horses with the Arabs, although Sheik Mohammed is unlikely to plss on a small fry like him and Coolmore aint dumb enough to trust him, with anything.

He might've been in business class or first class. I was in the front row of cattle class and he never passed me getting on. Of course he may have been on the other side of the plane.

I'd have thought Sheikh Mo would have a direct line to Coolmore, no need for a clown like ML.

Go-betweens are the norm in the bloodstock industry, relationships are very fluid and always on shifting sands, there is usually more conflict with Sheik Mo and Coolmore than agreement.

DPP + others sitting on Moriaty Report now for 2 years trying to make decisions on what should happen next, the latest revelations should kick their ass further even MeHole is trying to score political points although FF had a secret pact with Lowry for years and he is the mirror image of an FFer.

So far Lowry has seen them all off, Kenny should realise it would be a major boost to himself/FG if they put the boot in now, very hard, find a way to make him resign as he will not do it voluntarily but until his "own" in North Tipp turn on him well its a bit like Willie and local pork barrell politics.

Kevin Phelan must be looking for or smelling more money from Lowry as a deal on lands in Wigan looms up on the horizon, Phelan says he has more evidence and Dinny has distanced himself from Lowry, its a game of poker.

McDowell on the silence of the lambs, this article is very damning of Lowry and questions FG's role in damping down the Moriarty Report.

Phelan has been made bankrupt in NI which will make him bitter.

Wasn't a fan of McDowell in government, but he could add a lot if he came back into things now. Would much prefer him to head a new party over the very suspect Ganley.

It's a complete farce that Lowry isn't in a jail cell, never mind that he's still a TD.

Elaine Byrne will have his head high up on a pike, she is determined to nail Lowry and have him pay, the less she brings Dinny into it the greater her chance of success.

Phelan is an unhappy bunny with a lot of info on Lowry, Kenny will have to do something and get off the ditch.
