Patricio Noriega joining Racing Metro as forwards coach. Has been helping with the Australian scrum since 2009. Has helped bring through a lot of the younger props who were lacking the power initially but have improved the last year or so I thought

The Germans are coming, the Germans are coming
Germany international Damien Tussac has agreed to join Leeds from Top 14 outfit Toulon.
The 24-year-old prop has signed a 12-month deal at Carnegie, with Tussac having already teamed up with the club for pre-season.
Tussac has been capped seven times by Germany and will provide competition for the tighthead position in the front-row.
Leeds director of rugby Chris Gibson said: "We are very pleased to have secured Damien for next season.
"He is a player with great potential and will add to our group. He has family in Yorkshire and so was keen to come and play in England.

    Also

Argentina Under-20s captain Juan Cruz Guillemain has teamed up with Stade Francais for the coming season.
The 20-year-old caught the eye as he guided Argentina to fourth at the recent IRB Junior World Championship.
The lock, who played in Argentina for the San Juan club, will be joined in Paris by compatriot Lisandro Gomez Lopez.
The 24-year-old, who has been capped by Argentina Jaguars, will make the switch from Pampas XV.
    Always

this is a bit of a shock, Sean Maitland is leaving the Crusaders for Glasgow...
Maitland is an incredible winger... and qualifies for Scotland through both his Dad´s parents....

I would stick him straight in the national team..!!

but he's played for NZ Maori & U20's, I'm not sure which but one of those would make him ineligible for any other country as NZ don't have an "A" side.

They do have the "Junior All Blacks" though as far as I know which is their A team as such

Edit: At least they have had this team in the recent past. Dont know for certain if they are still going

Only if they played against another such side in a certain year. SRU will have checked this out bulletproof after the mess they has last year with the "Welsh" L'Irish centre. Loxton played U20 for Wales but is at Connacht and IQ. IRB have a messy set of rules for the 2nd team.

He will no doubt have been assured he will walk into Scottish team, maybe next month. At 24 he probably feels he is out of AB reckoning. He and Visser could transform Scotland back play.

Maitland would have been a cracking replacement for Dougie. He's probably not the best rugby player in the world, but he's an outstanding finisher. That's a serious signing for Glasgow and Scotland, once they can use him properly.

It seems to me that there is a stand-off between the benefactors and the WRU, with the players being used as the pawns.
Nobody is going to win that battle, and everyone in Wales will suffer, because of it. However much I dislike certain regions in Wales, Irish Rugby needs a strong Welsh Region/Club set-up.

So why didn't we look at JR to slot in between JJ and The Earl in midfield? Lions 2016, shoo-in.

The exodus continues, I blame Gatland and co. if they continue to select Top 14 based players they’re all going to go, and why not, playing in France would be awesome and you double your salary. Unfortunately it’s going to kill Welsh provincial rugby and ultimately lead to the demise of the national team.

Take England, although Stefan Armitage is probably the best English openside playing at the moment I agree with Lancaster not selecting him it sends out a message to others that if you move abroad you not going to make the national team. What I do find disappointing is that the the WRFU used to have the same stance, Dwayne Peel got left in the wilderness after moving to Sale, but it seems that player power has won through and number of players moving to France has forced them to reconsider.

Sure Jamie hasn't really played for Cardiff in a while now. A few appearances here and there just to show face.
I dont really blame him, he probably wont play for that long anyway with his medical career ahead of him.

Here is a picture showing how it used to be back in the day. I'll miss him for that I suppose. He always was better at fullback than centre anyway.

I think it would be better for everyone if they just let it burn.

Thanks Cakes. Sure, it was going to happen sooner or later. I've said it before that i'd rather see Hewitt (heart and soul Cardiff) on that pitch than a 50% Quagmire. The likes of young Corey Allen have a chance to shine now. All 6ft4 95kg of him. (19yrs old!!)
Cuthbert next on the Eurostar I'd say. He's worth saving, so I hope he stays a bit longer.

Gwlad is actually surprisingly tranquil on this, btw. I think the impending dread of Robert Howley's Favourite Scrum Half running the show for this season is numbing the pain.

I would actually wonder if the player exodus is actuially helping the welsh national team?
The players going to the T14 get top class coaching, playing with and against Top class players week in week out while the younger players replacing them in the regional setup cut their teeth and develop in the RDP12 and start to improve a-la Cuthbert, North, Warburton, Halfpenny without the "Old reliables" in their way!
Sink or Swim, if they sink, pick the Man in France, if they Swim... Then they have a younger hungrier alternative!
The problem with this world is there are too many snakes... and not enough Ladders!
