not that I am aware of the only I saw was with London Welsh and they have strongly denied having any contact with him..Probably his agent stirring things up...

Saracens have decided to hot their game against Northampton in December in Stadium MK.
I wonder if that is a sign....

Sarries are moving a few of their games around this season. They are moving permanently from Watford next season. As far as I know, they only signed to play something like 10 games in Watford this season. They have already moved their Leicester match to Wembly, and now this.

I'd be very surprised if we end up playing them in Watford (that's not a complaint by the way). It's a dreadful looking ground.

Watching Bath and Sarries at the moment (ESPN) the commentators are encouraging players who are challenging a kick by the outhalf to go for the standing leg of the kicker. Surely that's serious foul play.

If he's not got the ball away, I think you can hit him how you like. By the time he's got a "standing leg" though you're probably late.

McCall and Venter really made cretins of themselves by allowing the Boy Wonder to take the place kicks (and slot in at 10) against Munster!

I remember that fella! Lara's brother.

Played for an English team, Taggers was it? Think he had a bad experience at Ravenhill which scarred him for life.

Seriously but, Farrell IRB player of the year.

Tom Croft plays for Leicester. And in fairness he is a decent player, not as good as the Sky hype machine would have you believe, but good nonetheless.

Aye, he's brilliant right up until he meets a decent back row and then he's very ordinary. A bit like Owen Farrell.

And the Sky hype machine is in full Lions Hype mode.

Great result for Quins today at Saints. Interesting to see Sarries dismember Baarf in light of the comments re: league competitiveness earlier.

    Care to elaborate?

It's worth bearing in mind that the Saints were coming down from a tough double header against the Todgers. while the 'quins had the luxury of a double-header against the duds of the HEC [Zebre] over the past fortnight.

Also, Foden's disallowed try (for a very borderline forward pass) might well have won it for Saints if Barnes hadn't blown it up. The last second penno that Saints conceded to lose the bonus point was really insane and may yet cost them a play-off place.

For me, Saints' biggest problem is that when he's not kicking well, Myler is crap and Lamb (who I like) is much too inconsistent.

Saints are short overall for me. Front row has lost its edge a little bit. They don't have a 10. They miss Downey hugely at 12 and in the back 3 only Foden is a real threat.

Quins are a hell of a good side and I don't anyone would really fancy playing them in the knock-out of the HEC.

Agreed, although I'd be happy for Leinster to play them, even at El Stoopo, as it would mean that we had qualified for the last 8 of the HEC!

Not so awesome for Holleh Nowrouz, the author of this "unofficial" Sale Sharks comment. She's been sacked. Apparently the fans complained....

Sale Sharks sack head of social media over Facebook rant

    December 24, 2012

Sale Sharks have sacked their head of social media after she branded some of the club's supporters '****wits'.

Holleh Nowrouz, 26, was originally disciplined by Sharks' officials after making the comment on Facebook.

But following a showdown with chief executive Steve Diamond she has now been given the boot.

Sale won their second APL game of the season last night 33 - 27 against Worcester.

18 points came from man of the match Cippers and Mark Cueto's try took him level at the top of the APL try scorers list.

They're only a point behind the Not-nots now.
