Reading it at the moment ... it's a very good book - the best of it's type I've read since Axles.

Picked it up in Tesco on my way home from work for 17 quid. Not bad seeing as a work colleague showed me one he purchased from Waterstones earlier for 23 quid.

Only read the Foreward and Prologue, I've gotta be careful with these books as I'm always unable to put them down once I've started

I love this man, I proper love that man like. LEGEND.
The Maul is Back!! LONG LIVE THE MAUL!!

Stringer is bigger even than his own immense shadow. Pound for pound, he is the best tackler in the world. If you put him into bag of cats he\'d come out without a scratch. He was hit very late for Murphy\'s try. And when he got up, as we knew he would, the crowd cried his name as if he had just fixed the economy.Billy Keane-After Munster\'s famous loss to the AB\'s.

The Bull-Truly irreplaceable, a mountain of a man. 100 caps!!

    Peat,
Thank you for that reminder, enjoyed LLS for once, he (actually Fiona too...) deserves it.

For a man who doesn't like the limelight too much, he acquitted himself very well there. Typical (women....!) of Fiona to nab him, but I reckon the real Machiavelli there(female of course....) is from the next parish; couldn't see Axel plan anything like that, even Rosie wouldn't be up to that; can't wait to hop that one.....!

Snuck a little read of the bouk in Mahoney's 2day; make sure someone puts it in your Christmas sock lads, 'tis all there.

I'll pick up a copy today. He was great on the late late last night. Great dignity to the man, an actual legend of the game!

To be fair you could hardly say he was great on the late late. It was a carcrash TV. Id blame Ryan mostly, such rubbish questions...

My daughter just texted he's in Easons Cork at the moment, signing the oul books.

Apparently quite a big queue there too, delighted for him

Was on the last word earlier. Matt asked him what made PO'C such a great line out operator? Was it your lifting or Fla's darts? Missed the answer did anyone hear the reply?

He basically said he knew what Fla would say! He was too modest to say himself and instead mentioned how POC practices like crazy to get everything right etc

For anyone that missed it, Bull was on Off the Ball last night, seemed fairly comfortable being interviewed at this stage, made for good listening.

It's half an hour into Part 2 from last night's (Wednesday) show, you can get it here

Forgot to post that I met the man himself in Ennis Book Shop last Saturday, what a hero. Thought I'd be cool as a cucumber but fell to pieces...ended up stuttering and mumbling like an eejit. Got a great photo of him holding my 2 year old son, both of them with massive smiles. Now to start the book....

Met him there myself John. Good to see a decent turn out for him.

I'm two thirds of the way through it .... a very good book imo - fairly well written for a book of its type.
