Was on the front cover of Luxembourg's version of Hello this week, wearing a Connacht jersey.

Irritatingly I can't find the cover shot, but here is a link to the article.

A not so great translation.

Rugbyspieler are considered as hard chaps. One of them is a prince
Sébastien, who plays in the association and even in the
U18-Nationalmannschaft. A training visit in Cessingen.
A horde/hurdle boy goes into the knees and lifts energetically the arms
into the hips. Everyone goes bent on its position. Fast and experienced
they form a prescribed formation. Their views are wildly decided. At
the collateral line of the sports field Marty Davis and Sean Bretin
stand. As coach and Assistenztrainer they give loud commands on English
again and again. Who does not keep in track, must 20 push-ups make.
Also discipline and respect belong to training. The outside
circumstances do not invite in this evening straight to be in the open
air to float let alone in the Stade “Boy Konen” into Cessingen sport.
The clouds pull together. It became cool. But the boys, who throw,
carry or kicken the oval leather ball of one here on the other hand,
are hard in taking: Because they play all Rugby.
In the middle in their rows also a genuine Blaublüter hunts for the
egg-shaped ball after. Prince Sébastien, the youngest Sprössling of
Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, is already the second
season in the U19-Team of the “Cercle sportif communautés the
européennes” (CSCE) licensed. The 17-Jährige runs much, fits its fellow
players skillfully to the rear the ball to and tries again and again
with full body employment the opposing ball carrier firmly to clasp and
to case bring. Of noble restraint or großherzoglichen airs no trace -
on the contrary. Prince Sébastien is itself for nothing too
unfortunate, demands self-confidently the ball and supports its crew
colleagues after forces. That it does not have a fear of the hard
impact, it makes clear with its actions. A surprising sight. Finally
rank nevertheless rather tennis, riding, gulf, Polo or Skeleton among
the preferential kinds of sport of Aristokraten.
Prince Sébastien, who informs itself with its fellow players on French
and English, is completely exemplary also in the training
participation: It is missing only rarely with the units or with plays.
Finally also he knows: Who to training does not appear, for the coming
match one does not set up. He some years ago discovered its love for
the raue kind of ball haven on the catholic boarding school “Ampleforth
college” in the English North Yorkshire. Apart from its two-year school
time the noble one learned there the multiplication table Rugby.
“I got a call of the yard and was asked at that time whether prince
Sébastien can come to us to training. I was surprised, however
immediately assured”, remember coach Marty Davis schmunzelnd. However
it was from the outset clear that on the Rugbyfeld no place for
protokollarische formalities is, and the boy is treated exactly like
all other fellow players. Without if and however. “Each player is
addressed here with the pre or nickname. That is valid naturally also
for prince Sébastien”, makes clear the CSCE coach of New Zealand, who
is at the same time Luxemburger national coach. It however never gave
problems or integration difficulties. “Sometimes we necken it a little
because of its noble origin. That is normally, finally makes we with
everyone once a fun”, tells the 17-jährige team colleague Philippe
Busca, which is friendly outside of the Rugbyfeldes with prince
Sébastien also. Particularly over Facebook they hold for contact with
one another and exchange themselves.
The fascinating at this kind of sport is the team spirit. One goes on
the field in consciousness that it can come hard on hard. There it is
the more important to support each other and one on the other to leave
be able themselves mutually. A team consists of 15 players. One plays
without Protektion. Only tooth protection is prescribed. Two times 40
minutes try the teams to put the “egg down” in the opposing mark field
and score in such a way.
Rugby is a fast and body-intensive play, with whic

The Luxemborg national team often has a lot of players who are eligible through residency. I was looking up a former housemante from college and discovered he'd picked up a few caps playing for Luxemborg, he had played at U21 level with Garryowen when we were in college.
When I looked alittle further into the most capped players for Luxemborg there were quite a few irish names on the list.

Ampleforth has a strong tradition in Schools rugby in England.
