I say there in the re-building era, young side there yesterday. Not sure if they lost many players from last season.
They had a centre from the Munster junior team and he wasnt playing either.. think he is away in America.

Any news on the old christians no 13? heard it was a real nasty injury, awful to see so early in the season.
I hope the centre will make a quick recovery nasty thing to happen anyone
Is that shortt or was he plying elsewhere??terribe news for him if it is nod for Christians as he would hav been one of their best players..
I was at a Leinster jnr game at the weekend, the 5 sec rule looks like it has speeded up the game significantly..any team who hasnt prepared accordingly fitness wise will be under pressure!!!
From what people saw at the weekend which players stood out for their teams??
tralee no 8, dont know his name carried a lot of ball yesterday, caused cobh some problems in the 1st half, took two men to take him down most of the time, was quieter in the 2nd half mainly as cobh had more of the ball
Did Ben martin play for clonmel on sunday?
i dont think ben played cause he wasnt on the scoring list if he was playing he would have been kicking at goal
No he played full back for UL Bohs against St Marys on sat so was just manager of Clonmel on sunday!
Got to see the second half of the Clonmel V Senans game. Although the scoreboard suggests Clonmel won well, Senans must be very annoyed with this display the made a lot of silly errors.(Old Christians,at home to Clonmel next weekend, needn't worry too much, they made short work of Clonmel last year and there's nothing to suggest they won't do that again) Still a good win for Clonmel and a good platform for the season ahead. Players who impressed- Clonmel full back was impressive, the Senans 8 seems a v-good (and Big) lad also. On a side note I don't think we'll have to fill this forum with much mention of Ben Martin in a Clonmel RFC jersey this year so can we all just move on please!
Spoken like a true Clonmel fan...especially like your prediction for this weekend...
Sure the no 8 for Senans is Stephen Ryan, was the Munster Junior no 8 for a number of years.

A couple of cheeky ones. Just feel this league is going to be savage tight again this year, most teams capable of beating each other on a given day.

HA HA! I can see where that comes from but I'm just an outsider living in Clonmel who enjoys a game. I am starting to become a Clonmel fan though. I used to tog out for cill dara rfc back in the day (Early to mid '90's) but now I pop into Clonmel the odd Sunday when they are at home.
Having watched Clonmel last sunday I could see no real improvement (Slightly more organised at the back.), they'll finish top 4/5 and no better. Christians really impressed me last year and I see no reason they won't turn Clonmel over.
Cross vs Kilfeacle; Kilfeacle NCW vs Richmond; Richmond Christians vs Clonmel; Christians Skibb vs Galbally; Skibb Mary's vs Kanturk; Kanturk Senan's vs Cobh; Senans Waterpark vs Clanwilliam; Waterpark
