Jeff wont go anywhere. Turned down offers to move in previous years. He has been playing GAA so will be back training fully soon..

Big strong ball carrying hooker. Solid scrummager, if he can get fit will be a good asset!

Skibb could do very well this yr....managed to hold onto the majority of their players and have signed afew from clonakilty and heard they signed 2 or 3 players from con who are originally from skibb(getting messed about at con)....they will def be in with a chance of winning it....be wary of the cork teams to all ye limerick poster...kanturk have recruited too!!!

The quality is on the up so, the hangover from Cashels dominance looks to have left South Tipp in a bad way for Junior Rugby, if Ben Martin has left Clonmel they wont challenege next year.

    Has Ben Martin left Clonmel?
And can anyone confirm Denis Leamy has taken over?

Heard Kanturk were offering massive money and benefits for a player/coach (late 20s) this season! So it isn't just senior clubs that throw about money!!

How long is the window, or what is the cut off date for clubs to have signed players for the coming season?

  22. #4132
A Lad at our gym, who's from clonmel, just confirmed he's signed up as forwards coach for Clonmel AND Ben Martin (Head Coach/Player) is still there!

He's taken the last few training pre season sessions and is driving the lads hard.

Interesting news I think! This must make Clonmel a stronger proposition for next year?

Hardwork always pays off. would you happen to know how long is the window, or what is the cut off date for clubs to have signed players for the coming season?

Is Martins not committed to playing with bohs only next season and only coaching Clonmel?

Also anything on crosshaven - nothing much been said about them?

Senior club official told me they were talking to former prominent assistant coach and player but after a year not playing he did not fancy lacing the boots again. Still at his senior club as assistant despite poor season last year (hardly his fault). Would have been a major coup but AFAIK did not go past chatting stage.
