    Hi All,

Jerry Flannery here (your junior club Captain!)Just touching base
and hope you are all having a good summer. My hols are nearly over now
and its back to training for the new season.

I think last season went really well and i know all the lads on the
team were really happy with all the support they got from the junior
club throughout the season. I am enjoying my role of junior club
captain and i'm now thinking of giving Big Paul the sack and taking
over as munster captain for next season!

It was very dissappointing missing out on the Lions Tour but I went
to the USA with Ireland and really enjoyed the trip. Dont know did any
of you see Tomas O'Leary making fun of me on TV -I thought of revenge
but I'm going to be the bigger man and forgive him. I was very
disappointed in Tomas for his childish behaviour in making fun of me on
TV. I gave him a serious telling off after we had finished watching the
game and he ended up bawling crying. The poor guy had a real breakdown
and wouldn't stop sobbing and said he was just very jealous of how cool
i looked in my sunglasses and felt the need to make fun of me. I told
him not to be so jealous because not everyone can be as cool as me and
he should just be happy to be plain old Tomas!!.

I've had loads of support from munster fans, including junior
members, during my injury and its great to hear people are looking
forward to my return. ( because sometimes i don't think the rest of the
squad really appreciate what a great player i am!) I'm very lucky to be
able to work with such a great medical team like the munster physios,
doctors and fitness coaches and with their help I should be back for
the start of the season. (and ready to smash all the opposition).

Its tough being injured but if any of you ever are I would say to
never lose hope and always stay positive. If you keep trying your best
you will eventually achieve all your goals. It is this mentality which
has helped me overcome challenges and adversity throughout my career to
    date.

I'll sign off for the time being. Enjoy the rest of the summer and
thanks for your unwavering support, "to the brave and faithful, nothing
    is impossible"

    Cheers

    Jerry

I have just renewed their memberships and the smallest has become a member and has selected the Bib choice! I selected watches for the other 2 which will be handy. I just hope the watches do not have the same issues as the game clock in Thomond!

That's what I had to do too. Not sure why it isn't working for you - are you sure you are renewing the right child? You said you renewed the other one earlier this week

16 is the cut off and that appears to be what is causing the message.

That red bib might come in very handy.

I'm not sure what I'll do if he gets picked to lead the team out. I emailed Jennifer just in case!

Thanks. We're stuck in Dubland so we've to give the lad good strong reminders of his heritage until such time as we're back in the Cork.
