Tried online poker and was doing ok but quickly got sick of it. Am keeping up the interest in betting on rugby and the GAA though and lay a bet or two every second weekend. Last year manged to turn 120 into 1,060 but that seems fairly small time compared to Shane here. Took out a grand at the start of the summer and have slowly worked it up to 603. Had two out of two last weekend. Munster and Scarlets to get less than 4.5 tries between them @ 4/5 and the ABs to cover the 20 pt spread.
So far this year made 10,000 profit. Far too many hours spent in front of the comp screen.

I tried the paddypower online poker. Only on it about five days but breaking even. Just playing the 0.01/0.02 no limit hold 'em and trying to learn. I find it takes ages to get a decent hand and whenever I try to bluff it doesn't work
I gamble every day with my Pension Fund. Would that count?? Pick your Fund to see how little you loose against the competitors!!!!! We might do better than the Professional Fund Managers !!!

just put on a treble with paddy power, toulouse for Heineken cup, France for 6 nations and Munster for Celtic League. Works out at about 40-1. Looks good to me!
Don't fancy France for the 6 nations at all. I think marc lievremont is a brutal coach. Ireland will beat them in the first game at Croker.

Probably a bit of both. Since I live near Galway will probably hit the casinos there.
Fools easily parted with their money springs to mind. The max I would ever lay on is 20.00 tops as that is all I could afford to lose. Funny that you always hear about the wins but never hear how much money people actually lose....

redster I spend very little on going out. My on-line poker play is a hobby. I also have learnt to manage what I spend. I set a daily/weekly limit and don't exceed it. So far this year I have not come close to exceeding it. Lucky me- maybe (probably)
The conflict of interest is too much for my liking, Considering Tolouse and France will be clashing with Munster and Ireland.
TBH I would of thought the better bet would be for Munster to win ML,HEC, and Ireland to win the six nations.

Gets paid once a month and goes on a big bender and has sweet FA to live off for the rest of the month. The person admitted to me that they blow 1500.00 one weekend on cards, I nearly got sick at the thought of it.
