<DIV ="date ">Ulster Rugby have intoroduced new family friendly prices and a reserved Family Area in Ravenhill. The new initiative was launched by some of the members of the Ulster Rugby Family including Mammy Cynthia, Daddy Dawson wee Nigella and big bro Ian.</DIV>

<DIV =article>The family area is based in the YellowTom stand, which is a seated and covered area within the Ravenhill Grounds, and is located at the Memorial Arch side of the pitch. Tickets are priced at £14 for adults and £7 for children, for every Ulster Rugby home game this season. Ulster Rugby’s Scrummy Mummy Cynthia (better known as prop Justin Fitzpatrick)commented: “It’s great that Ulster Rugby now have a designated family area. It not only provides a sheltered and secure area, with great views of the live action, but the family friendly prices mean we can head down to Ravenhill as a family to cheer Ulster on more times this season.”Also on hand to launch the Family Friendly prices was Daddy Dawson, better known as Kieron Dawson, wee Nigella, more usually seen listed on team sheets as Nigel Brady and big bro Ian Humphreys.


Its an pity we cant have something like this, if you want your child beside you you must pay full price or get tickets in the south terrace, while I know ulster rugby may be in trouble they are doing the right thing for familiesin these hard times. </DIV>

Any tips bout where to grab a bite to eat and have some pints b4 the game without us going round in circles &amp; walking miles! Arrive in Supporters bus probably by 4pm hopefully getting dropped off at Travelodge (Coonagh Roundabout) and weather permitting plan to stagger to Thomond having drink, food &amp; drink in that order.


All suggestions welcome. Have only ever passed thru Limerick so have no knowlege of the place but walkinglooks like Ennis Rd, Northern ring Rd and then Cratloe Rd or is this a dull route with no pubs? Fancy Italian or Mexican food.

ps awesome game by u lot v the All Blacks. Is it for sale on DVD anywhere? Still cant get over the fact that it was roughly the same team u had sent 2 Ravenhill recently.

Not that many pubs / eateries near the Coonagh roundabout. Davin Arms is now a Lidl next place with food and drink would be the Woodfield Hse hotel.

Was there not a pub meant to be opening where the Clarion Suites were or has it been delayed?


I thought there was a lemongrass there but maybe it's gone aswell..

Now that the Davin Arms is gone, between the Travelodge and TP you are really confined to the Greenhills Hotel on theEnnisRoad (within sight of the Travelodge), or further in the Ennis Road you have the Woodfield or the Clarion Suites Hotel, neither of which is directly on the stagger line, but near enough - 10 mins to the ground.

You would really be better to head for the city centre and stagger out towards the grounds ! Plenty of Italian and a couple of mexican eateries in city centre too

HWM, take the bus into the city centre terminus (William St.). Couple of places you can try for grub;

That's gone since, was more of a chipper anyhow.

Is there still a Mexican down by the Locke? It'll be a shock to the Ulstermen that us Mexicans have so few Mexican restaurants.

Best restaurant I've been to recently was the Hamptons, on Henry street, great food and not too pricey.
