I got a lift in, able to go for a few beers afterwards, herself kindly offered to come in and pick me up later in the evening when the traffic died down.
btw: neighbours car, 11C A4, was nicked from Watchhouse cross last game out, they recovered it, the next day, hidden up in Cratloe woods.
I've always parked in multi stores intownand walked out and back. It's the quickest get away after the match - for those heading east - and for less than the quid I know I won't get a ticket.
On Saturday I was on the road home whilst others were still stuck behind the crowds, that's leaving straight after the match.

Sure there is an opportunity for some young locals to set up a much needed Valet parking Service.![]()

I'm saying the cars are parked that way every other day of the year with the same amount of cars. And if they parked on the road the road would be practically blocked to any traffic.
Is it only a game?
And its Thomond Park NOT Thomond
Maybe this could be the cue for a joint venture scheme between LIT/TP/Gaelic Grounds/ Limerick City Council, for the erection of a cheap and cheerful multistorey carpark which could be of service to all four bodies, particularly LIT who have ongoing parking difficulties and are seemingly stuck for room to expand. Just a thought.

Cars parked in Woodies car park were stickered on Sunday warning about parking there, a sign on the entrance to that car park saying clamping may be used so as they used to say on Hill Street Blues, " Be careful out there".

LIT could be charging for parking on TP match days if they need extra cash .. honestly can't believe that they don't charge even a euro or 2. Have seen enough similar facilities at away games charge for car parking as a fundraising measure that it does seem very strange that a similar approach isn't taken in Limerick.

I think they do charge.
Twice I've gotten corporate box tickets for rabo games, and you get a parking pass for LIT with it.
It's your field Bull
That's only for a specific area of the LIT parking, the vast majority of the parking is freely accessible and despite the presence of Pay & display machines in 2 of the car parks they don't charge on weekends or after 6pm on weekdays, but of course the machines don't have this detail so will issue a ticket if you put in the money.
