looking forward to it immensely... last nights conclusion of
the Nadal Murray semi-final was an amazing match...
Murray is in brilliant form.. fought nadal for every point...

    But Federer is Federer..
He was as lame as a duck. Not the metaphorical lame duck either, but a real duck that was actually lame. Maybe from stepping on a land mine or something.

It'll be the WC '66 from the Brits all over again if Murray wins!

It'll almost certainly go to Federer, but Murray is in a better placing than
Roger was at his age already. He will have his time and be no. 1.

It might even be worth a flutter on Murray for Australia 2009.

The media here is making much noise about a "British" player getting to the final.

It's a nailed on cert that it'll be "Scotlands Murray" by tomorrow (if he loses!).

Federer just broke Murray, 2 0 in 2nd set. Murray v good but Federer so much better and can't forgive Murray for beating Rafa!

It is a bit of a slaughtering so far Fed 2-0 up in the second set broke Murray already.

how many times may a player challenge calls does anyone know?
    Love Poem

    Beyond watching eyes
    With sweet and tender kisses
Our souls reached out to each other
    In breathless wonder

    And when I awoke
From a vast and smiling peace
I found you bathed in morning light
    Quietly studying
All the messages on my phone

3 challenges each per set. If you challenge and are deemed correct
then you don't lose one of your 3 challenges.

It still looks to be a straight sets victory, but Murray will gain a lot of
experience and confidence from the performance he has put in today.
    Especially in that second set.

3-0 in third set to Federer...
Federer making plenty of mistake, but still managing to be
    well in the lead...

From his early grand slam victories it looked that way.

Would be interesting to see one of those virtual match ups between the
two at their peak. Who would win?

UK press have pretty much given up on their golfers at the moment, especially the real podge, Monty.

Can't wait to see what public reaction will be to the Ryder Cup
    though.

Couldnt be bothered starting a new thread for it........but Williams was serving to stay in the match against Clijsters........foot faults and goes nut at the umpire who called it, apparently saying that she will kill her........in all the confusion plus im shattered i think she was ordered from the court and disqualified........nuts, but i like Clijsters so all is good
    Always

I was watching it here on the Tee Vee.

It was a point penalty on match point rather than a d/q. It didn't look a foot fault to me on the replay but her conduct following the call really wasn't on. They didn't play audio on the tv replay here but I'm pretty sure I could lip read some four letter fs in there. It was a sad way to finish the match but I doubt it changed the outcome - Clijsters looked to have her shook.

This is the first set of semi finals of a major, since 2004 that doesn´t have Federer or Nadal in it...

So, Nadal never competed and Federer beaten by Berdych last night...

Does Murray have the cojones to go al the way in this, his by far best tournament to play in...

Tipsarevic playing some brilliant stuff at the moment in his 1/4 with Ferrer...

Cameraman focusing on his girlfriend/wife too... fair play.....
