This country will be one entire slum unless we get into action, in spite of our literary movements and Gaelic Leagues it is going down and down. There is no life or heart left in the country.

Actually so did I. I just looked at the rates for the Castletroy Park. On their website the chapest B&B rate for that night is €170, add say €30 for the pre-match lunch, probably €40 for the buffet dinner, allow €10 for the bus transfers and probably €50or €60 for the ticket (minimum) and you are up to €300 - 310 already. By comparison to most corporate jobbies that's not too bad all in.

If I wasn't sorted already I'd be happy enough with paying that.

think the offer is only for o2 employees. Or their "special" customers.

Got to say when I saw the price I thought the same as the others. That's not bad at all considering how much the hotel alone can cost. It would become a rip off if ABs and Munster both field 2nd/3rd XVs but it's still not a bad deal for a big day like that.

  12. #12
is there any similar deals available????

To be honest that isn't too bad a deal. £280 not bad coming from over here if you can get them

Yes Breakfast, lunch, dinner and 1 nights accomodation in a 4 star hotel, a match ticket and transfers to and from the game isn't a bad deal considering accomodation is between 100 and 300 yoyos alone for that night. Not all of us live in Limerick and Cork.

so book into a 3 star or less, find access to a ticket through another source and save a fortune. there'll be loads of tickets around for this game.

No offence Ruck, but I think everyone and their dog is going to want to go to this game and ticket sources on this side of the water are patchy at the best of times(I woud personallly try for HEC games as a preference) .I will be thorwing my hat into the lottery with all the other AM's and probably staying with the brother in Cork. However if you had little contacts and are looking for decent accomadation with a decent bit of grub thrown in then this isn't a bad deal.

Well you can add Hotel rip offs into that bracket.

Was thinking I'd stay up on the night of the game, but have just discovered that almost all the hotels have doubled, Yes..DOUBLED their prices for the 18th

Clarion for example is €99 on themonday night and the thur, fri, sat afterwards

and €220 for a standard on the night of the game and the following night. All the others seem to have followed suit. Poor form, would expect to pay a bit extra, but doubling the normal price isover the top, as such Iwill be hoping back into the car after the game...

of course first I have to scrounge a ticket anyway
