The show must go on. Reckon Kidneys team selection next week will show whether he is serious about trying to sustain a challenge for the Magners League. He doesnt want to risk injury but doesnt want to damage team morale either.

I do reckon moving from 15 back, that Carney will start on the wing. Lewis will start. Warwick and possibly Stringer. Your front row may contain Darragh Hurley if not def the Puc. Mod and DonnchaRyanwill probably start with ronan foley and JOS in the back row. Maybe not all will start.

Good to hear Tipoki speaking about the Leinster match in his post match interview!

A victory over Leinster next Saturday would be fantastic and would make us serious contenders for the title.

I think Stringer needs ROG to play next to him. He always seems to play better when ROG is there, or else I'm imaging things, which wouldn't be a first. LOL!!

My team would be, Backs: Hurley, Howlett, Lewis, Mafi, Carney, Warwick, Stringer
Fowards: Puc, Frankie, Mushy, MOD, POC/Ryan, Quinne, Ronan, Foley
Subs: Fla, Horan(if fit), POC/Ryan, Coughlan, TOL, ROG, Tipoki
    This is Gareth Edwards!
    A dramatic start !
    What a score!

No reason why DK can't make 5 or 6 changes without affecting the team too much
    Ronan (Wally injured anyway)
    Foley
    MOD
Horan (needs to get on the park after Saturday's injury)
Warwick (ROG was sick on the morning of the game)
    Carney
    could all start.

I'd say TOL would stay at 9 now.

Leinster play Edinburgh away and then Dragons home and away - I can't see them dropping points. We play them and have a game in hand and even bonus point wins from both of those - hardly a banker - would not close the gap.

I hope DK makes good O'Connell's promise of last year and fight on so that we are in place to take advantage if Leinster slips up.
But realistically we are depending on Leinster to do us a favour and hand it to us on a plate.

For the over the hill and the past-it, nothing is impossible.

    I would go with:

BACKS: Hurley, Howlett, Lewis, Mafi, Dowling, Warwick, TOL

FORWARDS: Puccie, Fla, Mushy, MOD, POC, Quinnie, Ronan, Foley.

I think if Hurley and TOL are to be our first choice 9 and 15 they need to keep playing, and away to leinster in a big game will be more good experience for them. I would rest Tipoki due to recent injury problems. I would keep Fla in. He shouldnt need rest due to lengthy ban. Mushy needs more games. I would play POC as he needs games and is getting better with each one. Perhaps bring on D Ryan for him at half time. Rest Wally due to knock. Rest Leamy.

There would be enough in that team to run Leinster close. But I expect the ladyboys to win. people shouldnt underestimate just how good a team they are, especially at home.

Kidney will have a lot of things to factor in before he even pencils in the
squad. Just on saturdays team alone, he'll want to rest some players,
give others more action. Then he'll want to keep the guys who weren't
involved on saturday in action. On top of that he won't want to put out
a team that doesn't have a realistic chance of winning - no one wants to
be cleanswept in an interpro - and balance that with the fact that the
good players will really want to play, because thats what good players
do. It'll be interesting to see what he does, even if one were a neutral
    Karma

Don't think anyone underestimates them here but they owe Munster 4 points from Musgrave Park and I think it's payback time. People shouldnt underestimate just how good a team Munster are.

horan, fla, buckley, poc, mod, quinlan, ronan, foley, o leary, o gara, dowling, mafi tipoki, howlett and hurley.
bench: sheahan, hayes, DOC, leamy, stringer, warwick, lewis.

just a few thoughts: horan's there to get some game time. buckley in there as he's a wrecking ball. POC in there as he needs more game time and needs time in partnership with MOD who also needs some high intensity stuff. wallace gets a rest, quinlan and foley's old heads will be handy in such a game.

picked the same backline as i feel they could do with a bit more game time together. the game on saturday was the first match that 9-15 played together i'd say.

A selection along the lines of the Ulster game i would say. Id say mabey Mafi should be rested with probobly Lewis starting although it would be nice if Keith Earls is tought to be up to it. Wally seems to be injured so Ronan to start at 7,which would be great chance for him against gleeson.

We could be looking at a bit of a inury crisis atLH.Both horan and PUC are injured after the last day, and DaraghHurley who we've been just looking to give a chance to all year is out for 6 weeks i think. So if Puppy and and PUC areout for next week we arekind of stuck as Buckley is not a LH. Can McGovern playLH, dont know too much about him except that he has been fairly impressive in the few chances he's gotten.

Leinster haven't been in the mood to horriffically beat anyone recently but I would be very very very very very very very very surprised if that Munster team came anything close to winning.

Yep good one, look if munster are even remotely interested in beating leinster we would whip them out the park, i fancy a lot of changes and a drop of intensity which should show us a good game, i just hope tipoki and o gara dont play because leinster will hit us hard and those 2 players are irreplaceable

McG started a LH v Leinster A, was impressive and dominated Knoop, by all accounts.

Ah another event junkie. Hope you're not going to be at the game, you don't deserve a ticket.

Anyway, the last 2 times you've been to Dublin in the league you've had a BP put on you. We've already beaten you in Cork this year. A full strength Leinster side loses at home even less than a full strength Munster side does. If you're not at full strength you won't have a chance.

Hmm, guess I'll have to refrain from using any of the Munster stereotypes (though I think one in particular might especially apply to you) for fear of getting banned again.

D'Arcy is out of his cast anyway, and he's close enough to being able to play, though this weekend might be too soon. I wouldn't be surprised if neither played.

    Our second team should play..

The boys deserve a rest after yesterday.

"That's what's difficult. You know that O'Connell is going to be the one that will jump for the ball but you still don't manage to steal it. It's kind of annoying

"I talked about it with the Toulouse players, my final in 2006 and theirs in 2008 against Munster. I was marking Paul O'Connell and they were man-marking him too. We knew he was going to jump. But I remember I was in really good condition, with a good lift, but every time I just missed it."
