Well it's that time of year again and for Munster the Heineken cup campaign begins this coming Saturday in Thomond Park when Munster host Northampton.
Munster face into the next 2 weekends with their internationals back in harness having played 2 games in the red jersey since returning from the World cup. How much can be gleaned from those 2 games is hard to say. Players coming back into the side after being away for so many weeks and changes in the starting 15 between the 2 games means it is hard to call just who outside of the usual suspects will be in the squad come match day. Will the coaching staff spring any surprises, are all the usual suspects still in the mix? There are plenty of opportunities to see some new faces starting a Heineken cup game when you consider of the Munster Heineken Cup squad of 38 a total of 13 of those players have never played Heineken cup rugby with Munster.
