The number of tickets for the 1/4 final has allways being cut, for the MRSC, Rugby Clubs and sponsors due to a higher allocation to the away team and the ERC, so how have we being screwed

Its a disgrace giving tickets to the supporters club. All tickets should go to the backbone of Munster rugby...THE CLUBS. The supporters club should stick to organising charity auctions in Dolans for one legged touts.

All stakeholders get their allocation cut for the quarter final due to increased ERC allocations and visiting team allocations, not just the MRSC.
However this shouldn't become yet another forum to devalue ANY stakeholder in the Munster family, no single group is far more special or entitled than anybody else and all have different roles to play.

this is the time of the year when you have to re-evaluate how important and beneficial the associate membership is to you and the benefits that you get out of it, i wonder what would happen if there was a drop off in the number of A.M's?
its easy to get tickets for any ML game, and its not hard to get tickets to 2 out of the 3 home HCUP games generally, there is sometimes no benefit in the knock out stages, (but that depends)
personally i dont think im going to buy the season ticket next year, but will keep the membership, there is always clubs looking to offload tickets for HCUP games that are not very high demand to keep their allocation for the big games.

I suggest you revisit the last part of your statement and acquire the facts. The MRSC have NEVER organised an auction for any tickets in Dolans or anywhere else for that matter.

Try taking the caps lock off next time.
Do you have any understanding of why they can make no guarantee of a QF ticket ?

I notice in the previous thread you created last year, you said
Interested in getting on committee of MRSC for next season. Need a seconder who is a full member of the supporters club and who can attend the AGM on 27/05/09. Ticket allocations need to be addressed for members, only got a terrace ticket for 1/4 final having paid for stand tickets for all H Cup & Magners League games.Any takers ?
Silly me for my last post. 8 months later and you're still clueless about how the rules for a home QF work. In fact, if you had read the constitution you would have seen that combined season ticket holders have preference over single venue STHs. So obviously you only bought HC & ML tickets for TP only. Hence you're in the lottery, but you could have guaranteed a ticket for yourself.

Ahh the lidgend of the curse of the one legged tout. Brings me back. I was there, in fact I believe that I was the first to see him on that fateful day.
His curse came through though he said we would lose our unbeaten record that very day for not respecting him.

Some full members think they have a God given right to a ticket to a Home Quarter Final, and not only that, they seem to want the exact same seat. I wonder whose allocation they propose be reduced to facilitate them.

Glad you said full members there Kermit. I thing Assoc members are just glad if they get anything. I know that i am anyhow. When i signed up it said i wasn't guaranteed any hc tickets and managed to get one to all games so far. I don't have a chance for the QF but i don't mind as i believe i've done damn fine already!

But Kermit, we have had this problem before, why have so many season ticket holders, we dont need that many, either through the mrsc or the clubs. Less season ticket holders and everyone is happy. We added 200 this year for the MRSC and that to me was a mistake.
