Apparently Bohs are suppose to be missing alot of players through injury. Anyone have any news on this? Who is out and when are they due back?

Also, any news on signings that bohs have made?

Good win at the weekend for bohs over Dungannon. Unfortunatly, heard that Paul Rowley broke his leg in the game, bad blow for him.

The seconds had a good win over Thomond in Fitzgerald Park. Terrible game to watch, Rugby tennis, pretty much the same as the RWC semi's. Except for the last 10 minutes when both teams started playing 7's rugby, a stark contrast to the pervious 70.

Didn't Paul just get a Development contract with Munster a few weeks ago? I will find out tomorrow about injury. Wishing him well in his recovery.

He has played the last two games for the seniors and has performed very well. Could lose out because of size when Ryan Hartigan and Brian Madigan return though.

Not playing this weekend as he is off with the Ireland u20 squad.

Great game at the Weekend against con. Bohs were very unlucky to lose and deserved the win. They didn't take there chances and they paid for it. Con didn't look like they were going to create anything and lived off the bohs mistakes, punishing them with 3 early tries. The bohs fight back was brilliant and it showed the great spirit that the side has. Hopefully the can reproduce the rugby that they played in the last 60 minutes against UCD at the weekend

One of the guys at work is an underage coach with bohs, and he was pretty excited about the match happening in the UL bowl this weekend. I'd say the club are hoping it will generate a good crowd.

Great weekend for Bohs with the seniors beating Lansdowne and the Seconds beating Shannon 24 18.

Highlight of the weekend has to be the under 20's demolision on cork con, Half time score 56-0 to bohs. Full time score was 85 - 7. Should be good signs for bohs

What happened to Boh's underage teams? I've noted the
players who didn't come through their underage teams
(afaik), seems a bizarre number of imports for a club that
had/has strong underage teams.

From the Clontarf game this weekend.

1 Gary Walsh, 2. Sean Henry, (Sligo) 3. P O`Regan
(Tralee), 4 Ed Kelly (Waterford), 5. D Foley (Tipperary) 6 T
O`Donnell (Tipperary), 7 Brian O’Hara (Cork), 8 Kieran
Essex (Cork?). 9 Cathal Sheridan (Sligo), 10 JJ Hanrahan
(Kerry), 11 Cian Aherne, 12 Dave Moloney, 13 B. Murphy,
14 Martin McPhail(c), 15 Darren Moroney. SUBS; K
Flanagan,E Rossiter,S Rennison,K O`Gorman, D Harris, R
Butler, F Ryan.

Is it all down to the Academy?

Strong underage teams? They only tend to get strong at 20's and thats because they've lads from all over playing for them because they go to UL.

Also the reverse is also in play. Many of the lads that play underage for bohs may go away to college.
