Can't recycle the ball at speed
No Centers
The worst backplay in the 6N
No leadership
They are royally screwed. After their autumn performances I have to say they are potential wooden spoon candidates

England were always a confidence team. It'll be a tight match. They made the boks look good. I won a serious amount of cash on Argentina winning! The confidence is starting to come back. After next weekend you'll be lucky if Robbo is still in a job. Hopefully he will be. Worst thing to happen to english rugby since Webb-Ellis. With him in charge Ireland would have a decent chance at the slam in the 6Ns.

It was sheer luck that the beat SA. They had absolutely nothing to offer. There is better back play at your average schools senior cup final.
I really dont know what the hell Ashton is doing with them.
Their biggest problem is that rugby has moved on. England perfected the multi phase game- it won them the WC - but their habbit of going to ground and protecting possession in the tackle is killing them. The rest of the world has moed on and now look to play the ball out of contact.
There is no precision in their passing and but for Coen's last gasp tackles last week they would have been slaughtered.
There is a good chance Italy will muller them up front and Scotland could run them all over the pitch if they spark on the day.
England for a wooden spoon is not a bad bet at all

I completely agree skulldrag. Did you see englands backline organisation? It was shocking, completely disorganised, they were standing around waiting for someone to tell them what to do. If Ireland played them at this moment, they would put 50 points on them without breaking a sweat. The tries they scorde were individual, rugby is a team game. they're playing GP type rugby. Forwards batter the opposition, retain possession and then hammer any mistakes the defence make. Static rugby. 3 years ago that worked not now.
