Technically how long should one wait before they text after a first "meeting" Ie if you score someone on a Saturday night when should the person text back. Having a girlie chat with the girls atrwork. I say wait for them to text you!!!! ha ha

technically? forever.

@@@@SPAN style="font-style: italic;">edit: unless of course you are a burd who has no self respect (not you in particular - girls in general). in that case you might as well send a slutty picture with the text.@@@@/SPAN>

Before any reasonable guestimate can be provided to answer that question it is absolutely critical to clarify the nature of the term 'score'.

Clearly the girl waits for male initiative, you dont want to be seen asneedy. Sure they'll get you drunk and show you their moves in the alleyway at the side of the lobster pot once butafter that you're in trouble.

There are no rules, if you like someone say it and see if they get back and if they don't it's their loss. You will not seem needy and overthinking the issue will just confuse you. Better to regret the things you have done rather than the things you haven't as they say...

I heard from a friend of mine in New York about the 1 week rule. The earlier they ring/text the more desperate they are and the later the more they're not bothered. It's all madness really.

If you like someone go for it. Sure what the hell? It's not like your head will fall off if they say no. It doesn't really make you desperate or a tart, just a girl in control - much better than a girl wasting away waiting for the phone to beep - Balls to that!!

If you fancy him or her to the point where your curiosity has been raised then pick up the bloody phone. If you don't, then don't. Do not sit on your arse wondering about the timing. Timing can only every be wrong.

Unless it's right, in which case calling him or her within 24 hours cos you fancy a repeat is never, ever wrong. Or bad timing.

Blaming timing is what people who wish their lives away do while the rest just get on with it.
