Planet Rugby reporting that WP Nel is joining Edinburgh on a 3 year contract. Pity we didn't pick him up as a project player, would be a fine addition to the squad, good scrummager.

For all the stick we gave him here (myself included), Bradley seems to be doing a good job with Edinburgh, particularly when you see forward looking signings like this.

Well you can hardly have 3 NIQ props....was in the context of swapping him for Borlase as project player

Or you were just wrong, again.
I wonder will WP Nel get a Bok call-up for their match in Dublin in November ?

The best of them went to Toulouse, not to an Irish province.

If you mean Gurthro the Paarliet, then agreed. Superb player.

Edinburgh have played 17 competitive games to date, 13 Pro12 matches and 4 HEC game. Nel has played 9+2 in the Pro12, scoring three tries, and 1+3 in the HEC [source: http://www.itsrugby.co.uk/player_12446.html ]. That's decent production, given that their other tighthead is current Scottish international Geoff Cross.
