hadn't paid attention to the scottish team list previously.. but why put Lamont in centre a position he's not used to when they've Max evans who has played centre quite decently for them in the past.

My own guess at an answer is because Jackson was being picked at 10, and having a similarly slight 12 in the form of Evans behind him would just be asking for trouble.

question- Paterson's intervention to give us the lineout for the try, was that potentially a penalty/pen try for deliberately passing the ball into touch?

vaguely remember Bowe getting binned and pen try against the All Blacks a few years back for batting the ball out

Fresh Start

that's one thing I always found laughable with Scottish rugby,
playing the loud music when they score, just seems ridiculous
when it's usually while they're massively behind

My guess is because last year Morrison just ambled
through and over d'Arcy at will and they expect someone
decent like Lamont can enjoy even more success, bearing
in mind d'Arcy just fell off a tackle in that breakout I really
worry they might be right.

Nigel, you're a nice guy and everything but get your guide dog

No way Sexton would have scored that

Preach! haha

Earls and Fitz need to swap, they're
both much better in the
the position the other is filling. And d'Arcy needs to be
benched now, he's not performing and we could run riot
with
someone in form there.
From an attackign perspective I agree with you like Id rate
Fitz as a better out and out finisher on the wing whereas
Earls would be a bit bit more effective coming into the line
as they say. Not sure defensively though. Neithers a
Kearney under the high for starters but not sure about
Earls decision making given the choice.
