Seo muid a chairde!!
For those watching on TG4 and wanting to understand a bit of the commentary, here's a few terms to listen out for:

clibirt - scrum
leathchúlaí clibirte - scrum half
cic pionóis - penalty kick
try - úd
slánú - conversion

Having some technical diffs here so I'll do my best to provide live commentary as Gaeilge, but for some reason the PC is running v slow.

BBC Alba has the commentary is Scots Gaelic, but the side line interviews in English - they'll never get independence at this rate.

Watched three replays SRG and still couldn't see for sure what happened to him exactly, but obviously there's concern over a neck/spinal injury.

Edinburgh allayed fears that there had been another major injury in Scottish pro rugby after Esteban Lozada, the Argentina lock who joined them this summer, left Murrayfield in dramatic fashion.

The 28-year-old was less than 26 minutes into his debut when he was knocked out in what had looked a relatively innocuous incident as he attempted to make a tackle.

Play was stopped for around 15 minutes as he was attended to, having to be brought round after losing consciousness, and he was then placed on a stretcher and driven from the pitch during the first half.

However, Rob Moffat, Edinburgh’s head coach, indicated afterwards that the length of time it took to remove him from the field was merely an indication of how careful the medics now are in applying the sort of procedures that saved the life of Thom Evans during Scotland’s meeting with Wales in February.

“Sam Hewitt [the club doctor] said it was purely precautionary,” Moffat said of the decision to take Lozada to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. “He took a blow to his head. We’ve looked at it [the replay] a few times and it looked as if there was a bit of contact with someone’s knee but it was barely anything at all. I don’t know whether it was the way his head was twisted that was the problem.”

He added that he could not make any prediction as to how long the player would be out of action, noting that while there used to be a statutory three week lay-off following concussions, the readiness of players to return is now based on a series of tests.

Lozada’s injury contributed to a sorry night for his club as they became the first in the Magners League to lose a home match this season.
