Well, Dai Young was true to his word and has put out near enough their strongest available side to play the Tigers at Welford Road, mind you they did return 70% of thier ticket allocation so still an uphill battle. Its likely that Andy Goode will be out with a hamstring injury for Tigers so Humph JNR likely to start at 10. Unfortunatly "Special Agent Burke" is not in the reckoning....

A lot of 'Tigers' fans feel that Cardiff will be content with making up the numbers on Saturdy. I'm not so sure, &this team selection verify's that. I do however feel, thatwith more at stake, & home advantage. ThatTigers will ultimatelyproove too strong for them. But it wont be the walkover they are expecting (I hope). I will be at the game as a very partisan bystander. smileys/wink.gif

Its important that Cardiff at the very least keep this a 4 point win for the tigers

cardiff dont appear to be looking at the pool as a lost cause thats not worth fighting for, but as experience to be gained for next year.

Fair play to Cardiff. Hope they get a result. Ensuring no bonus point for the Tigers would be a good start.

Not many Cardiff supporters going to WR though, as they returned some of their ticket allocation.

Afraid notsmileys/sad.gif

I had to balance the cost of the trip with the unlikelihood of getting tickets with an already planned trip in December to see the derby Basque match between Bayonne and Biarritz. I have put my name down on the Tigers ticket list but had no call, so slim chance.

If you think TP has atmosphere, then you could do worse and pay a visit to Bayonne. The fans are tremendous and the singing fantastic!

Hipkiss is ahead of Smith on form, it would have been a surprise if it had been the other way around.

Cullen is a dead cert on form. Deacon and Kay would have been very close, and I would expect to see both featurethis afternoon.

Only real surprise, I would say, is Rabeni over Varndell.

Regardless of cardiff's motivation going into this fixture, the fact that leicester scored 3 tries in the first 10mins is very impressive and a bonus point win was inevitable from there. They were never going to offer much resistance from there.

And so it comes down to the last weekend as regards who tops the group. Would we ever have it any differently???

Played well, but, got replaced by Vesty as he had a slight knock. No concern though, squad rotation.A few missed kicks due to the very stong swirlingwind. All in all a good performance by Tigers, they came out all guns firing as they knew they had to win with the bonus point to stand any chance of qualifying. Blues were trying their hardest to come back, but with the defense being so good and turning over the ball on several occasions, they did not have much chance.

If we play as well next week, we should see one heck of a game!
