Former Australia centre Pat Howard has confirmed he willcall it quits as Leicester Tigers head coach at the end of the season<!-

The Australian confirmed the news that most people had been expecting when he announced that he will return home when his contract expires in 2007.
Howard,33, who played 20 Tests for Australia between 1993 and 1997, succeeded John Wells as head coach at Welford Road in 2005.
In 2004-2005 he had been backs coach at the Midlands club.
Before that he had played three seasons at fly-half and centre for the side, helping them beat Stade Francais in the 2001 Heineken Cup final.
There has been speculation that South Africa head coach Jake White is a possible replacement.

He has been strongly rumoured for the job before and it's a surprise that he hasn't gone there before now.
