I booked the Hotel Moderne in Geneva. It is a 3* hotel very near the main train station in the centre of the city. It is €70 per night for a single room including breakfast.

Are most people staying in Geneva? I'm making this trip solo so it wouldbe handy to be staying with as many munsterfans as possible.
Galinka - Where did you mange to book your flights? The cheapest I could get was €359 (albeit I am flying from Dublin but still a big difference)

If you are in Dublin you should consider flying Easyjet out of Belfast. They have flights at a good times - coming back Sunday night if you want. They are going up in price though.

I am flying from Shannon to Stansted Ryanair and on to Geneva with Easyjet. This is possible ex Dudlin as well and can be done cheaply if you fly on to Geneva Saturday afternoon/ evening.

Don't know if this helps but we are going to make a road trip out of this.
Flying Dublin to Karlsruhe-Baden (FKB) Ryanair,Saturday 13.05 Return Monday 16.25. flights are currently €30 odd which is for nothing. Can't see these flights being available for too long at this price!
According to the AA route planner it is a 4 hour drive to Geneva.

Baden Baden isnt far from Basel and the Trains from Basel to Geneva are excellent. Their must be a connction near the Airpark (i wouldnt go so far as calling it an Airport) to Basel.
