Looks weak.

1-5 is weak - strong elsewhere.

Shanklin will shore up one wing. But still reckon Czekaj is a weak link when turned

The out half is very limited too.

7th-December-2006, 11:32
Any chance of it being called off?

The weather today is the worst yet.

I'd be very worried if I was travelling over for the game on a ferry.

Weather Outlook (Source: Met Eireann smileys/lol.gif)

Saturday: A cool, breezy and fairly sunny day, with just a few showers. Highs 6 to 9 C. Cold after dark with frost in places, but wet and very windy weather will develop overnight.

Sunday: Most of Sunday will be extremely windy and quite wet , with a risk of some local flooding. Southwest winds are likely to gust to 100km/h or more also.

I'd be very worried if I was travelling over for the game on a ferry.

All ferries cancelled today to/from Rosslare, will have a knockon effect for the weekend with the backlog. Had booked a car through work with Irish Ferries for Saturday morning but have since cancelled and rebooked SNN-Bristol Sat-Monday, total 77.00 euro each for the lads travelling.

Flights over should be okay, Cork - Cardiff in 7 minutes flat.

Getting back could be a problem though. Might be quicker heading East & around.

I like what I've seen of Stcherbina this year - all in it's a handy outfit. If I was Deccie, I'd be going with a big back row to muller them in the tight.

The only back row we have that is competitive enough to match Cardiff is Quinny,Wally and Leamy thereis no other option maybe if Micko was fit...but not really

I think Cardiff are weak in the centre to be honest, and at 10 neither of the Robinsons overly impress me an im happier having Shanklin out on the wing as he is still a line breaking player but has lost that yard of pace from what i can see and as such wont provide as mch of a threat on the wing than in the centre where a little break and offload is very dangerous.Just like Halstead.

All this about Cardiffs weak front 5 is a bit OTT. Jenkins and Rhys Thomas are better than their respective numbers in the loose and tight.

sunday will be the only day that there will be a danger of that. at that stage most should be well and truly there

Cardiff will be slightly Rainy on sunday with a Max Temperature of 10 C and windsd of up to 20 mph according to the BBC site

That BBC site's predictions are less accurate than Keith Wood's
drop goal attempts. The amount of times it said "20mph" with small
animals and galvinised sheeting being wipped around outside defies
belief.

Met Éireann are more accurate smileys/shock.gif

These guys will be well up for this game, they are still well in the hunt with 5 points in the group - we'll need a big performance on Sunday - I dont doubt we can do it,
